The application process begins April 24, with GIS survey in 7 days and conveyance deed issued within 45 days. With 22 major hurdles removed by the Centre and Delhi government together, small shops up to 20 square metres will also be regularised, while the TOD policy will drive high-density, mixed-use development within 500 metres of Metro and RRTS corridors.

The grand ceremony featured a red carpet, cultural performances, gala premieres and the screening of the opening film 'SIRÂT', with eminent personalities including Sharmila Tagore, Kangana Ranaut, Hema Malini, Vicky Kaushal, Manoj Bajpayee and Anupam Kher gracing the occasion. CM Rekha Gupta described the festival as a celebration of dreams, emotions and stories that transcend language and geographical boundaries, adding that Delhi — long a centre of art, culture and creativity — is now emerging as a 'Creative Capital' of India. Special initiatives including 'CineXchange' for emerging filmmakers and 'Her Lens' for women filmmakers reflect the festival's commitment to inclusive and empowering cinema.
