A Journey of Leadership

Rekha Gupta, born on July 19, 1974, in Julana, Haryana, is a dynamic Indian politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). From a young age, she was influenced by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) ideologies, which shaped her path in public service. She pursued her education at Delhi University, earning a Bachelor of Commerce and later advanced degrees in management and arts.

Her political career began during her university days when she was elected as the President of the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) in 1996. This role propelled her into active politics, where she focused on student welfare and youth empowerment. Rekha later entered municipal governance, being elected twice as a councillor for Uttari Pitampura (Ward 54) in 2007 and 2012.

Her personal life is marked by strong family support. She married Manish Gupta in 1998, and her husband has been a pillar of encouragement in her journey. Rekha Gupta’s career exemplifies a commitment to serving society, backed by her robust political acumen and deep-rooted values. Her leadership continues to inspire, making her a key figure in Delhi's political landscape.

Throughout her career, she has held various influential positions, including General Secretary of the BJP's Delhi state unit and a member of the party's National Executive. Rekha is known for her dedication to public welfare, particularly focusing on community development, women’s empowerment, and educational reforms.
